Bihar crisis: Nitish to meet Governor at 1:30 pm to stake claim to form government;

JD-U leader Nitish KumarJanata Dal (United) leader and former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar will meet Keshari Nath Tripathi at 1:30 pm on Monday to stake claim to form the government.The governor would be arriving in Patna on Monday at 9:30 am from Kolkata, amid hectic efforts by Nitish Kumar group to form a new government.
He would administer oath to the Chief Information Commissioner at Raj Bhawan at 12:30 pm on Monday, as per the invitation send to mediapersons about the function.
 
 
With Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi refusing to vacate the chair and Kumar, who was recognised as the new JD-U LP leader by Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary during the day, all set to stake claim to form government, all eyes are set on the Raj Bhawan.

Earlier in the day letters of support by JD-U, RJD, Congress, CPI and one independent in favour of Kumar claiming support of 130 out of the total 233 MLAs in the house was submitted to the Raj Bhawan.
In his press conference in New Delhi, Manjhi again hit out at Nitish Kumar. "Nitish Kumar is a good man but can't remain without power. It is obvious now," he said.
Manjhi was hand-picked by then chief minister Nitish Kumar to replace him after the JD-U faced a Lok Sabha debacle and Kumar resigned owning moral responsibility.
