Microsoft offering smart exchange for Asha owners ;

In a move to offer the latest OS experience to its consumers, Microsoft has come-up with a new " Smart Exchange" offer for existing Asha consumers. The offer will let existing Asha consumers to exchange the phone and get a discount on the latest Lumia 435.

The Smart Exchange is valid till April 15, 2015 or till stocks last across the country. Consumers of  Asha 500, Asha 501, Asha 502 and Asha 503 get an assured discount of Rs.1,500 and an assured discount of Rs.1,000 for Asha 305, Asha 306, Asha 308, Asha 309, Asha 310 and Asha 311 consumers.  The Lumia 435 is priced at Rs.5,999 and provides a decent Windows phone experience.

According to Microsoft this offer will enable its consumers to access the latest and always upgradable software on high quality Lumia devices. Another offer by Paytm makes the deal even more attractive. Paytm will provide a cashback of Rs.1,250 through the Paytm app during the offer period (Rs. 250 per transaction).

Lumia 435 is the cheapest Windows phone offered by Microsoft till date. It comes with Snapdragon 200 chipset, 1GB RAM and the typical Lumia design. The phone sports a 4-inch WVGA 800x480 screen backed up by a  1,560 mAh battery. On the camera front, the phone comes with a 2MP primary camera and 0.3 MP front facing camera. The phone offers 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 128GB using a MiroSD card.
