Sushil Kumar had won Rs.5-crore prize money in the 2011 edition of KBC hosted by Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. As Bihar is bracing for a tough electoral fight between the JD(U) and the BJP in the Assembly polls, Nitish Kumar seems to be tapping youth power to boost his poll fortunes. The former Bihar chief minister has now roped in Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) winner Sushil Kumar to motivate young members of his party.
Nitish invited Kumar - the winner of Rs.5-crore prize money in the 2011 edition of the popular television game show hosted by Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan - to give a pep talk to the members of the student and youth wings of the JD(U) during a training camp organised at his 7, Circular Road bungalow in Patna on Tuesday.
Hailing Sushil as the state's youth icon, Nitish said the KBC winner had emerged as a role model for the youth.

"He has become a youth icon despite hailing from a humble family," Nitish said. "He should urge youngsters to do good things in life. That is why I have called him to motivate the youth."

The 32-year-old resident of Motihari has played the motivational guru by exhorting the participants in the "chhatra samagam" (students' conclave) of the JD(U) to never give up in the face of recurring failures in life. "I failed in around 100 different examinations before I succeeded in KBC," he said.
Giving tips for success in life, Sushil told the youths that everybody has to make a resolution to do well in their lives. "Mujhe achchha karna hai (I have to excel in life) should be the motto of your life to succeed," he said.
