Investigations so far have revealed that Ajit Singh Chaudhary, 24 alias Jeetmal Chaudhary, had planned the rape.Rajasthan Police has announced a Rs.one lakh award for any information leading to arrest of Ajit Singh Chaudhary, 24 alias Jeetmal Chaudhary, a resident of  173, Bohro ka Dund, village Tumbipura near Dudu, 50 kilometers from Jaipur, a suspect in rape of 20 year old Japanese tourist on February 8 night.
The suspect, a tout cum tourist guide was engaged in luring tourists for shopping for a commission in Jaipur. In 2013 he was charge sheeted along with others in Dudu police station in a case of trespassing and attack.
He is absconding. A dozen police teams have been raiding different places in and outside Rajasthan in his search.
 
 
Victim has reached Delhi to be with her parents who arrived from Japan after the rape.

Police have decided against releasing suspect's photograph hoping that he could be arrested and identification parade be done before she leaves for home.
Police have also detained seven persons  for helping him commit crime, giving shelter and facilitating his escape.
Investigations so far have revealed that he had planned the rape and that was why, he took her to his relatives for tea and dinner to prove his antecedents as a family man.
The relatives were distant but he presented them as his sister and aunt, making police suspect about their connivance too.
She also offered them souvenirs which police have recovered.
Police won't say if they were aware about his intention to commit the rape but say he appeared to be offering her to his friends for gang rape.
