According to reports, Hazare is in Pune on Wednesday for a routine health check-up.Anti-corruption crusader and Gandhian activist Anna Hazare will not be attending Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal's swearing-in ceremony at the Ramlila Grounds in New Delhi on Saturday. Hazare had skipped Kejriwal's swearing-in when he became Delhi chief minister for the first time in 2013.Kejriwal, who has often called Hazare his "guru" - he once said Anna "lived in my heart" - sought the Gandhian's blessings and personally invited him to attend the ceremony. The octogenarian leader had on Tuesday congratulated Kejriwal for his party's spectacular performance in Delhi Assembly polls.
"I extend my best wishes to Kejriwal," Anna told reporters in Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra. He also urged the AAP convenor, a former Team-Anna member, not to forget his struggle for the Jan Lokpal Bill and take it forward.

According to reports, Hazare is in Pune on Wednesday for a routine health check-up. It is still unclear if health issues have prevented the anti-corruption crusader from attending Kejriwal's swearing-in or he simply wants to skip the event since the AAP has also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

On Tuesday, Anna said that the election result was in favour of the AAP because the "achhe din only came for the industrialists" after the Modi government came to power at the Centre ten months back. "The public earlier thought that the good days are here but the good days came only for industrialists and that's why AAP's acceptability increased among the people," he said.
"Public's parliament is bigger than any government. They have given their mandate," Hazare said.
