Bollywood music composer Ismail Darbar's son arrested for assaulting assistant director ;

 

Ismail Darbar has been named by complainant Prashant Choudhary.Noted Bollywood music composer Ismail Darbar's son, along with two of his associates, were arrested on Tuesday on charges of assaulting an assistant director.According to the police, Jayed, along with his associates, had assaulted the victim over a payment dispute. The cops are now probing if the victim worked with Darbar. Interestingly, the music composer also has been named in connection with the case.
The alleged incident took place at 11 pm on Monday in the parking lot of a building in sub-urban Andheri.

 

 

The victim Prashant Choudhary had filed a complaint against Jayed and his associates - Nishant Singh and Mohsin Khan - at the Amboli police station. Choudhary, in his complaint, alleged that the Darbars had been repeatedly evading him after he sought pending payments in relation with a project he did for them.

"The victim had met the three accused and Darbar in the parking lot on Monday where he asked them for his dues. This led to a heated argument among them following which Jayed and his friends assaulted him with hockey sticks. They also punched and kicked him. Choudhary has also alleged that Darbar to hit him," a police officer said.
Following the incident, Choudhary approached the police on Tuesday. An FIR was lodged against the accused under Sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).
