Rohit Sharma, Ashish Nehra star as India crush Bangladesh in Asia Cup opener..

Opener Rohit Sharma smashed 83 runs from 55 balls as India made a winning start to the Asia Cup with a comprehensive 45-run victory over Bangladesh on Wednesday.
Sharma helped India recover from a shaky start to rack up a challenging 166-6 after his side was sent in to bat first on a green track. 
India's rejuvenated bowling attack then restricted Bangladesh to 121-7 in reply, with Ashish Nehra returning figures of 3-23.
Sharma's knock was complemented by Hardik Pandya's 31 as the duo plundered 69 runs in the last five overs to leave Bangladesh with a daunting task.
Sabbir Rahman top-scored for Bangladesh with 44 runs, while Mushfiqur Rahim chipped in with an unbeaten 16.
Sharma made the most use of his extra overs after surviving a close call when on 21. Shakib Al Hasan put down the catch when he cut straight at point off fast bowler Taskin Ahmed and went on score another 62 off just 30 balls.
In overcast conditions, the four-man Bangladesh pace attack left India in a precarious 42-3 before Sharma restored the dominance with a 55-run partnership with Yuvraj Singh, who made 15.
Pandya and Sharma then combined to hammer 61 runs in a 27-ball partnership.
Sharma hit a total of seven fours and three sixes, and was particularly harsh on Mustafizur Rahman, a bowler who had scythed down India's batting order single-handedly on its visit to Bangladesh last year.
Pandya sent the ball across the rope four times and hit one six, causing havoc with the Bangladeshi bowling in the last powerplay.
Fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain returned figures 3-37.
Bangladesh openers failed to give the side an aggressive start what was required in the chase of huge score.
Fast bowlers Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah struck in their opening spell to leave Bangladesh on 15-2 in the fourth over.
Sabbir Rahman retaliated, but India's bowlers proved relentless.
While off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin (1-23) strangled Bangladesh halfway through the innings, Nehra ensured the side's comfortable victory by dismissing Mahmudullah and Mashrafe Mortaza in consecutive deliveries.
