Bulk bookings promise sky high figures over the weekendThe much controversial film MSG opened across 3000 screens nationwide on Friday 13. Needless to say, it met with an overtly enthusiastic welcome, thanks to the ardent fan following of the Dera Saccha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
MSG was scheduled for a January 16 release, but got delayed due to clearance issues with the censor board.

In lieu of the controversy surrounding the film, the shows were not only booked in advance but are houseful for the weekend.

Bulk bookings promise sky high figures over the weekend, with each ticket costing around Rs. 450 to Rs.500.
The story revolves around Guru ji (Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh), who is a spiritual leader, and has a humongous fan base. He has accepted the challenge of eradicating social evils including drugs and gender-related issues, that have been prevailing in the society. Those with vested interests are now on a manhunt to track him down.
MSG has garnered an impressive box office collection, but appalling reviews.
